Diamond V Receives Fifth Consecutive 
Perfect GMP+ Score

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (May 14, 2007)—With a fifth consecutive perfect Good Manufacturing Practices Plus (GMP+) audit, Diamond V® is setting an industry standard for high-quality manufacturing and facilities operation. 

GMP+ certification verifies that Diamond V has in place proper manufacturing practices and has implemented an effective Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) food safety program. The GMP+ certification audit, performed by SGS Services, scores each company on ten categories: Hazard Analysis, General Hygiene Requirements, Training, Interior Facility Cleanliness, Exterior Facility Cleanliness, Material Receiving, Storage and/or Processing, Product Loading, Pest Control and Recall Program. 

“Perfect scores are very rare, and we feel fortunate to have received a perfect score on each of our five audits. In addition to this internationally recognized certification, Diamond V also has been recognized with an Excellence in Compliance Award by the Missouri Department of Agriculture. This award signifies that Diamond V has maintained an average rating of 90% or greater on feed samples randomly selected within Missouri. The Missouri State Feed Control Laboratory analyzed those samples for adherence to the guaranteed nutrient values, and they were found to meet or exceed the labeled guarantees.
