Diamond V Hires Lusson
as
Vice President, Finance & CFO
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (August 3,
2007)—Diamond V® has appointed Dave Lusson Vice President,
Finance and Chief Financial Officer at Diamond V Mills, Inc.
As Vice President, Finance and Chief
Financial Officer, Lusson will directly oversee the company’s financial
reporting, long-term financial planning, accounting and information technology
departments as well as the company’s Mexican business unit.
Most recently, Lusson was a partner
of McGladrey & Pullen in
Des Moines
,
Iowa
. McGladrey & Pullen, combined with its affiliate RSM McGladrey, is
the nation’s fifth largest and the world’s sixth largest public accounting
firm. Lusson was with the firm for 19 years, including the last
eight years as a partner. In that role he was responsible for overseeing
the planning and delivery of all audit, tax and consulting services to the
clients he managed. Those clients were often privately held,
international companies with revenues ranging to one billion USD. Lusson
also was responsible for assisting clients in developing and refining their
strategies for long-term growth and success. Additionally, as a partner
his prime responsibilities included expanding the firm’s revenue base by
acquiring new clients and growing existing clients. Prior to his
role as a partner, Lusson had been involved in assisting on a wide range of
projects, including mergers and acquisitions, financial projections,
activity-based costing projects, capital structuring, financing, ownership
transitions, etc., as well as the more traditional audit and tax services.

Lusson graduated from
Coe
College
in 1987 with a bachelor’s degree in business and accounting, earning his CPA
certification shortly thereafter. During his tenure at M & P
he attended and graduated from the prestigious University of Chicago Graduate
School of Business–completing a specially designed three-year corporate
program geared toward designing and implementing business strategy.
