Dr. Tom Oelberg to join the Diamond V Sales Team

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (October 15, 2007)—Diamond V^®  has appointed Dr. Tom Oelberg as a Regional Sales Manager and Dairy Field Technical Specialist for the Central Region. Oelberg will be responsible for serving customers in the Central Region of the country.

Oelberg will be called upon to utilize his training and expertise in rumen nutrition and forage digestibility. Before joining the Diamond V Sales Team, Oelberg served as an Area Market Manager for Monsanto. In this position he was responsible for developing and managing professional relationships with large dairies and veterinarians. He has also worked for Consolidated Nutrition of Omaha, Neb., where he served as the manager of animal research, identifying a variety of nutrition concepts for various livestock.

“Tom brings a wealth of knowledge to Diamond V,” said Curtis Harms, Central Regional Manager at Diamond V.  “We are excited to see what information we can learn from him and his past experiences.”

Oelberg graduated from The Ohio State University in Columbus , Ohio with a Ph.D. in Animal Nutrition.  He currently resides in New Ulm, Minn.
