Product Description:
SelenoSource AF 2000 offers
all the features and quality present in our standard Diamond V
SelenoSource AF product but is for use in organic production by
virtue of the OMRI listing. The Organic Materials Review Institute
is an independent agency that reviews and evaluates products for use under
the USDA's National Organic Program Rule (NOP) for certified organic
production. SelenoSource AF 2000 is specifically formulated
for use in organic rations.
SelenoSource
AF 2000 is a selenium yeast product of which a major component is
selenomethionine. The selenium yeast in SelenoSource AF has
undergone a series of washes to remove residual inorganic selenium salts.
Selenium in SelenoSource AF 2000 is an essential nutrient for chickens,
turkeys, swine, beef cattle, dairy cattle, sheep, goats, llamas, alpacas,
horses, and dogs.

Feeding
Instructions:
Mix
SelenoSource AF 2000 at the following rates to formulate a premix
containing no more than 600 ppm (272.4 mg/lb) selenium. The
resulting premix shall then be added to provide up to 0.30 ppm added
selenium in the final feed for all classes of chickens, turkeys, swine,
horses, sheep, goats, beef and dairy cattle. Selenium yeast shall be
incorporated into each ton of complete feed by adding no less than 1 pound
of a premix containing no more than 272.4 mg/lb (600 ppm) of added
selenium per pound.
