You simply cannot find a
higher quality selenium yeast than SelenoSource AF. We have
developed a proprietary, cost effective production process to
manufacture SelenoSource AF for our customers.
In this process a yeast inoculum, nutrient substrate and selenium source are combined in an aerobic propagation system. As yeast growth occurs, the selenium is absorbed by the yeast cell and incorporated into it's organic matrix. During the concentration phase, nutrient media, pigments, excess water and residual inorganic selenium are removed. The material is then spray dried and packaged. The final result is SelenoSource AF, a high quality, high-selenium yeast product (Saccharomyces cerevisiae).
